This past week we held a Vacation Bible School in the aldea of La Crucita. La Crucita is a small town of only a few houses. Some men from our church that live there passed out the fliers and kids walked from their homes on the mountain side around. Some quite a ways. We started with 25 kids and had…

Prayer Requests
The Lord blessed 2017 and we look forward to what 2018 will hold for the ministry here in Honduras! Please continue to pray for the political situation here in Honduras. The protests are scheduled to restart on the fifth and expected to be worse then before. Above is a picture of the road from San Pedro to our town of…
Giving Tuesday
Giving Tuesday is tomorrow! A chance to give to those in need. Would you join us in prayer about raising funds for medical costs this Tuesday? Medical costs are a HUGE part of ministry in a third-world-country! Weekly needs are presented to us. This week we need new inhalers for two of our Honduran kids, these are $70 US each.…
Iglesia Bautista Independiente – Update
Our little church in the center of Siguatepeque continues to see visitors almost every week. A young lady and her son, from across the street, have started coming regularly. Another family from a ways out of town comes frequently when they are in town on Sunday’s. Pray for these new folks.
Hope for Their Futures
Hopelessness is written on their faces. Today a small goal excites them, and tomorrow it’s gone. They aren’t expected to study or achieve much, because their grandparents and their parents, were never expected to achieve much. It is a cycle of poverty. In-fact, only 54% of teenagers 12 to 18 (college age) will do studies of any sort. The ones that do continue their…
Changing Children’s Lives
Good evening friends! Just a little post to remind you all of some opportunities to sponsor our children, others here, & be a blessing to them! We praise the Lord for those of you who are already blessing us so much in this way. We wrote of Angel (pictured above) last year as he began school at eight, not being able…
Planting Seeds
Another quarter of Bible Club in Colonia la Canada has come and gone and we pray seeds were planted in the hearts of these children. The Lord has allowed us to add to/alter somethings this past quarter. But, the goal remains the same. The reason is Jesus. The message is Jesus. The need is Jesus. One of the…
The Word of God
“For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.” Hebrews 4:12 Every month we receive requests from people who have never owned a Bible or know…
Souls
We have been very blessed the last couple months in many areas of our ministries here in Siguatepeque. In April our Linda came and asked me to tell her how to be saved. She already knew all the verses and all the answers but she simply needed daddy to kneel with her while she asked the Lord to forgive her sins.…
Duplex Kidney
We would like to ask you all to pray with us for our little guy, Javier (not his real name, for safety). We have been privileged to care for him for almost a year, since the death of his mother. Last week I took him in to our doctor because he had, as was confirmed, a urinary track infection. This week…
